Ickworth House
The project consisted of the insertion of a new visitor reception, education centre, cafe/restaurant and conference facilities within the existing shell of the 18th century West Wing of Ickworth House for the National Trust. The principle challenges related to designing and constructing contemporary systems within ancient fabric. My role was project director for the multi-disciplinary engineering design team.
